So you may notice i have painted the front ark in with caution stripes the leader in a yellow orange mix champions in orange & black, gangers in yellow & black and juves green & black. And I put names on the back of their bases.

So I finally after much pondering I picked a paint scheme for my Orlock gang, black base , orange accents , dark blue/black shirts and purple/blue arm bands. And lots of metal and rust! ;p

You may have noticed my juves don’t have names or coloured hair That’s because they have to earn that in combat by getting experience and leveling, then they get that Honor ๐Ÿ˜‰

There not done I will still do more highlights and edge work with metallics and what not, but this will do till the league is over I will have them done and ready for this coming Adepticon.

This week I’ll post my hangers on and my finished bounty hunters in my next post!

Thanks for checking them out and I’ll see you in the wasteland!

Nice work, man. They look like a fun bunch to paint? Are you using the hazard strips on the front for firing arcs or just to denote ganger level?

Thanks , actually Both! ๐Ÿ˜€ the different color makes it easy to spot which type of gang member your looking at! ๐Ÿ˜‰

Oh, nice. I tried painting lines to denote firing arc on top of the base, but found that the mini (Goliath) blocked it and made it impossible to see. Looks like for yours, you would have to be in front of the firing arc to tell. Oh wait…are you using the template too?

I was hoping to avoid using the template with just a painted firing arc on the base, but doesnโ€™t seem to be a good way to do that.

Yea Iโ€™m using the painted area in the front which has a hard black line going straight up and down to denote the start and end of the ark, it works most of the time, when it is difficult to call an angle Iโ€™ll pull out the template and clarify. But I always make sure itโ€™s ok with my opponent before we play ๐Ÿ™‚

Really nice work here, mate. I didn’t realise there were so many mohawked models in the Orlocks kit – or have you done some headswaps? I also really like the hazard stripes across the models and their bases. Well done!

Thanks Azazel. You know I could have used all the hawk heads to have all ten with hawks of some sort, I like lazy hawks just not the one they did for this gang and a was not keen on two of the other heads so I ended up with a few of the biker hair heads plus if my juves ever earn a gang member status i will sculpt a Mohawk for them! But Iโ€™m glad you like the hazard strips they are a lot of fun to paint! ๐Ÿ˜€
